Hello, I am Chris Dove.

I am the owner and photographer of Dove Photography. I have lived in Shenandoah County my entire life. My wife Michelle and I live in New Market, Virginia and our son who currently resides in beautiful Charleston, SC.

I became interested in photography in high school while on the yearbook staff later becoming the editor my senior year. In 1991 I attended Lord Fairfax Community College where I took Nature Photography twice as an elective course. It was here that I began fine tuning my understanding of how a camera works, elements of lighting, and photographic composition under the guidance and teaching of a well published photographer/professor. However, upon graduating college life started and work occupied much of my time taking away from photography.

In 2023 I retired from 25 years of serving Shenandoah County. Now having the time to follow my passion for photography I can focus on bringing you those "Beautiful Memories" you'll have forever.
